A County Roscommon native is set to make a milestone appearance for Connacht during Saturday's BKT United Rugby Championship clash against the Hollywoodbets Sharks at Dexcom Stadium (kick-off is at 7.35 p.m.).
Former Creggs player Denis Buckley will make his 250th appearance for the province.
He will become just the third player — after John Muldoon and Michael Swift — to reach the milestone.
There’s plenty of other County Roscommon interest in the Connacht team.
Brideswell native, Niall Murray, is selected in the second row.
His brother Darragh has been selected for the upcoming Emerging Ireland tour of South Africa.
Piers O’Conor, who has ancestral links with County Roscommon, is selected in the centre for just his second cap with the province.
