Here at home, Sligo Rovers will be out to move off 9th place in the Premier Division of the League of Ireland tonight.

They welcome Shelbourne to the Showgrounds for a 7:45 start.

The action continues in round two of the Women's National League this afternoon.

Ciara Maher has scored twice to give Bohemians a 2-0 lead at home to Cork City.

Meanwhile, it's goalless between Treaty United and Waterford.

Earlier, Peamount United beat Shamrock Rovers 2-0 in the opening game of the day.

Later, Champions Athlone Town play their first match since manager John Sullivan quit his role - They play host to DLR Waves from 6pm.

At the same time, it's Wexford playing host to Shelbourne.

At 5pm, it's Sligo Rovers travelling to Galway.

There's still plenty of play for in the final round of the league phase in Division 1A of the National Hurling League.

Limerick and Cork are in the driving seats to reach the league final ahead of meetings with Galway and Offaly later.

The Treaty know a draw against the Tribesmen will be enough to see them through while Galway can still sneak in with a win.

Defending champions Cork are at home to already relegated Offaly with a great chance to get to back to back finals.

Kilkenny and Tipperary are playing for pride with the neighbours both safe from relegation.

All those games throw in at 7pm.

Before that, Dublin look to move up to the top table with a victory over Carlow in Division 1B.

Elsewhere, Down welcome Antrim and Kildare make the trip to Wexford.

It's a 5pm start in all those games.

Waterford will face Galway in the Division One A Camogie League final.

The Tribeswomen got past Cork by 18 points to 1-9 this afternoon to book their spot in the decider.

Waterford were already guaranteed a final place but suffered a 3-21 to 1-8 loss to Tipperary today.

Kilkenny miss out despite their 2-18 to 1-12 win over Antrim.

In the LIDL Ladies Football League, Cork can confirm their place in the final with a win against Meath this evening.

Galway will progress if they defeat Dublin in Tuam, and Waterford drop points in their clash with Kildare.

Champions Kerry are also in action, travelling to meet relegation-threatened Armagh.

Throw-in for those matches is at 5 PM

Athletics

Mark English has missed out on qualification for the final of the 800 meters at the World Indoors Athletics Championships.

He finished fourth in today's semi final, agonisingly just under half a second from a place in the decider.

Meanwhile, Meave O'Neill finished sixth in the womens 800 meters in heat 1.

Later, Nick Griggs and Andrew Coscoran line up in the men�s 3,000 metres final after 6PM.

Lauren Roy meanwhile, goes in heat 3 of the women's 60 meters

Rugby

Munster and Leinster are both on the road in the URC today.

Clayton McMillan's side currently trail the Sharks in South Africa by 12 points to 0.
