Former St. John's Athletic manager, Keith Reynolds guided the Lecarrow based side to back-to-back Roscommon and District Football League Premier Division crowns.

St. John’s Athletic have paid tribute to departing senior boss Keith Reynolds after a successful two year term with the club.

Reynolds guided the Lecarrow based side to successive Premier Division title with 2024/25 season seeing them claim the title for the first time in the club’s history.

Just two weeks later, the club claimed their inaugural Joe’s Bar Challange Cup title.

The 2025/26 season saw the club complete another double as they retained the Premier Division title before winning the Premier Division Cup last month.

In a statement the club expressed their appreciation of Reynolds’ efforts in ushering in an unprecedented level of success for St. John’s Athletic.

“St. John’s AFC would like to extend its deepest appreciation to departing Senior Team Manager Keith Reynolds following an extraordinary two-year tenure at the club.

“Under Keith’s leadership, St. John’s captured back-to-back Premier League titles and consecutive Cup titles, achieving a remarkable Double Double and cementing one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.

“But Keith’s legacy extends far beyond silverware.

“Thank you for the vision, passion and unwavering commitment you brought to St. John’s every single day. You didn’t just manage this team — you helped shape its history.

“Thank you for the blood, sweat and tears you gave for the badge, and for the unforgettable memories you created along the way. The trophies will always hold a special place in our story, but the culture, belief and winning mentality you instilled in this team will be your true legacy.

“You leave behind a standard of excellence that will inspire players, coaches and supporters for years to come.

“Fortunately for St. John’s, Keith’s journey with the club is far from over. He will continue to play a major role in the development of our underage teams, helping to shape the next generation of players.

“From everyone at St. John’s AFC thank you, Keith.

“You will always be one of our own. You will always be a legend.

“A true baller.”
