Ballymoe’s Richael Timothy recently secured a medal at the UCI World Cup in Belgium.
The two time Paralympian won a bronze medal in the Road Race in Ostend.
This was the ideal start to the UCI World Cups for Timothy after some near misses in these events in the past.
Meanwhile, Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly won gold for Ireland in the Time Trial while the pair also secured bronze in the Road Race.
Timothy is set to compete in the next World Cup event, which will be held in Maniago, Italy from May 15-18.
