Two men arrested after gun, cash and almost €22,000 worth of drugs seized

A gun, almost €22,000 worth of drugs and a sum of cash were seized in Dublin on Wednesday.
The seizure came after a search of a property in the Corduff area of Blanchardstown.
During the course of the search, gardaí seized a semi-automatic firearm, around €3,198 of suspected cocaine and €18,650 of suspected diamorphine.
Cash totalling €1,150 was also recovered.
Two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested and are detained at a Garda station in the Blanchardstown area under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939/98.
Enquiries are ongoing, gardaí said.
