Thursday's front pages focus firmly on Donald Trump backing down on his global tariffs, but also nearly 100 vacant properties owned by Cork City Council being empty for more than two years.

The Irish Times and Irish Examiner report that Donald Trump has announced a 90-day ‘pause’ in tariffs for countries that have not retaliated against their initial rate, with the 10 per cent flat rate to apply.
