Breffni Players to take to the stage with ‘All My Sons’

'All My Sons' is the story of Joe Keller, who owned a munitions factory with his friend and neighbour.
Following a successful 2024 with sell-out runs of Dial M For Murder and Shadow Of A Gunman, The Breffni Players return to The Dock for four nights from February 25th with All My Sons by Arthur Miller, directed by Noel O’Callaghan.
The Breffni Players, a Leitrim-based amateur dramatic society, was founded in 1943 and has produced at least one play every year over the past 75 plus years without fail.
All My Sons opened in New York City in 1947 and was an immediate success with audiences and critics. It is the story of Joe Keller, who owned a munitions factory with his friend and neighbour. After being charged with shipping defective aircraft engines during World War II, Joe’s partner was convicted, but Joe was exonerated.
The play explores the Keller family’s complex relationships, which are burdened with shame, denial, guilt and grief. The story questions both the military-industrial complex and the American Dream.
The amateur production of All My Sons is presented by arrangement with the Drama League of Ireland on behalf of Josef Weinberger Plays.
The play will be shown nightly at 8 p.m. from Tuesday, February 25th to Friday, February 28th at The Dock. Tickets cost €20 or €16 concession. To book visit www.thedock.ie or call their box office on 071 965 0828.
