Open Mic Night a huge success in Roscommon
Host Sinéad Byrne Canning welcoming the large crowd at July's Creative Mic Night in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon.
The first Creative Mic Night, organised by Creatives Roscommon and hosted in the Abbey Hotel, attracted over 50 people and 17 performers.
It was an evening of music, poetry, comedy and more.
The Creative Night Mic is a place to share talent and to give space to share music, poetry, storytelling and more.
Creatives Roscommon are local artists passionate about revitalising the cultural scene in Roscommon Town. They aim to achieve this by organising and hosting events, building strong partnerships with local organisations and working with the Roscommon local arts office to unlock opportunities for artists, including those who are emerging, in Roscommon Town and surrounding areas.
Join Creatives Roscommon in the Abbey Hotel on Wednesday, August 13th at 8 p.m. for the next Creative Mic Night.
There is no need to book, entry is free and everyone is welcome.
