Willowbrook Whispers concert series announced
Willowbrook Glamping and Hideaway.
Three new shows have been announced for the Willowbrook Whispers concert series at Willowbrook Glamping & Hideaways, Ballaghaderreen – a unique listening-room experience that has quietly become one of the west’s most atmospheric live music settings.
Set within the cosy surrounds of Willowbrook’s intimate performance space and lit by candlelight, Willowbrook Whispers offers audiences the rare opportunity to experience exceptional artists in a truly close and attentive environment.
Since launching two years ago, Willowbrook Whispers has welcomed a remarkable line-up of acclaimed Irish artists including Emma Langford, Charlie McGettigan and Liam Ó Maonlaí. With camping and glamping available on site at the venue, music lovers from all over the country have been travelling to experience these very special shows.
The shows announced for Spring 2026 include Kit James (formerly Keith Plunkett) embarking on a new chapter in his career under his new moniker. His ‘Kit James’ project was launched with his January 2026 Single ‘RUN’ and he headlines the first Willowbrook Whispers show of 2026 on Friday, April 24th at 8 p.m..
Fearless fiddler and bilingual singer Clare Sands comes to Willowbrook on Saturday, May 16th (8 p.m.). Clare will be playing songs from her back catalogue as well as songs from her next yet to be released album ‘They Tried to Bury Us’ Following her powerful ‘Bitseach’ Irish tour early in 2026, Áine Tyrrell will return to Irish stages, and will be welcomed to Willowbrook Whispers for her show on Friday, June 19th at 8 p.m..
Speaking about the series, Willowbrook Whispers organiser Wes Pollington said: “Willowbrook Whispers was created to give artists a space where people really listen. These are small, candle-lit shows where the audience is only a few feet away from the performer, and that creates something really special for both the artist and the audience.”
