WILLIAMSTOWN

HANDBALL SUCCESS

The great run of success enjoyed recently by members of Williamstown Handball Club is continuing. There is now another positive story to report from the 13 & U Doubles 60x30 National Championships where Grace Connaughton and Caitlin Smyth finished runners up to a very strong Kilkenny GAA Handball team. This is the first time these girls have played competitively in the 60x30 event, so this result is something of which they can be very proud. Also competing from the club was Emily Connaughton with Sarah Hoban from Cumann Liathróid Láimhe Micheál Breathnach. Both girls played brilliantly and reached the semi-finals of their competition.
