The Terry Fox Run will take place in Boyle on Sunday, October 4th starting at 2 p.m. from St Joseph’s Hall. The run/walk is 5.4km for all ages and abilities it’s a fun day out for all the family. The event has been a huge success over the years, raising much needed funds for cancer research. This would not be possible without the continued support of all those in the community and surrounding areas, year after year. Cancer unfortunately is too familiar with most families so let’s continue in Terry Fox’s words “Even if I don't finish, we need others to continue. It's got to keep going." Those who wish to add colour to the event are welcome to dress up. There will also be refreshments served afterwards on the day. Students from Abbey Primary School will be in the area with sponsorship cards so please support if you can. Just to note there will be no raffle this year but for any businesses wishing to support/donate they can do so through the idonate page or contacting organiser Damian Regan directly. Those with Terry Fox T-shirts are asked to please wear them on the day. For those who do not have one, there will be a limited number of Terry Fox “Finish it “ t-shirts for sale on the day. Donations can be made on the day or online idonatepage https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/TerryFoxRunBoyle2026. For further details contact Facebook page Terry Fox Run Boyle or Damian on 0863942387.
