Two residents in Roscommon Town have lodged an appeal with An Coimisiún Pleanála (formerly An Board Pleanála) in a bid to overturn planning approval for a housing development on the Golf Links Road.
In the planning application, the developers had sought permission to construct seven three-bed single storey units, 10 three-bed two storey semi-detached units and three three-bed two storey terraced units.
Roscommon County Council, in a slight scale-back, gave the green light for five three-bed single storey units, 10 three-bed two storey semi-detached units and two three-bed two storey terraced units.
Two residents are now seeking to overturn the council's planning decision and lodged a planning appeal on February 10th.
An Coimisiún Pleanála has up to four months to make a decision on whether to refuse or approve the housing development.
