Celebrations in Sligo following €300,000 win

Celebrations are on-going in Sligo town after the Londis store on Cleveragh Road sold a €15 All Cash Gold scratch card with a €300,000 top prize win.
Shop owner Declan McCrann was thrilled to hear that one of his customers won big over the Christmas period.
“What a start to the new year for one of our customers with a visit to Lotto Headquarters to pick up a cheque for €300,000,” said Declan.
“This is our biggest win that we have ever had and for it to be on a scratch card is great because I think players sometimes assume that they’ll never win the top prize and now one of our customers is proof that it really can be anyone.
“We have a team of 22 working here in-store and the entire team was thrilled with the news. We are all hoping that we might see more of our customers winning big soon too,” Declan added.
