County Roscommon singer announces Irish tour following Electric Picnic debut

Ballintubber singer/songwriter Arlene Feeley.

Following her debut performance at Electric Picnic, Ballintubber native Arlene Feely has announced her first Irish tour, marking a significant milestone in the rising artist's career.

Arlene’s set at Electric Picnic's Artlot stage gained her with many first-time listeners leaving as new fans.

Now, the singer-songwriter is taking her music on the road along with Belfast band Madrai, with a series of performances scheduled across the country this October and November.

The upcoming tour will see Arlene and her band perform in some of Ireland's most iconic music venues in cities and towns including Dublin, Galway, Belfast & Dundalk, as well as a special hometown show in Ballintubber, to be announced.

Speaking about the tour and performing at Electric Picnic, Arlene said: "Electric Picnic was a huge personal achievement accomplished, it's something that has been on my bucket list for years, and now I can finally say I've done it. To share my music with people who genuinely appreciate original music and independent artists is so heartwarming. I'm beyond excited to now bring my music to venues around Ireland and connect with people in a more personal way through my lyrics and songs."

She gained national and international recognition in 2020 with her breakout single "Send Me Any Sign", earning a spot as one of BBC Radio Introducing's Top 5 Artists of the Week. Her follow-up track "somebody else" solidified her momentum, making her Artist of the Month across several Irish radio stations including Cork's 96FM, Q102, LMFM, and Limerick's Live 95.

After taking a step back to write and refine her craft, she returned in 2024 with Longshot — a bold new release already garnering radio support in the UK and Canada.

With performances at major Irish venues like Whelan's, The Workman's Club, and The Sound House, and festival appearances at Night & Day, K-Fest, TNBT, Electric Picnic and Whelan's Ones to Watch, she has built a reputation for electrifying live shows and genre-defying sets.

The Irish Tour kicks off in October, with dates and venues listed on her official website and social media channels.
