EuroDreams winner at Roscommon service station claims prize
Ger Kennedy, Store Manager, and the team at Monksland Service Station celebrate after a customer won the EuroDreams Tier 2 prize. The prize is worth €2,000 per month for five years.
A Westmeath woman who purchased a winning EuroDreams ticket, worth €2,000 a month for five years, at Monksland Service Station has collected her prize.
She recently made the trip to the National Lottery’s winners room to collect her prize, which she won in the December 1st draw.
She is already starting to make plans on how she will spend her windfall.
“The first thing I’m planning is a trip to New York – I can’t wait! After that, my ultimate big dream is to go to Australia, and I would absolutely love to go on a safari. And of course, to travel there by first class – arriving in style would definitely get the holiday off to a great start!”, she said.
When the winner was announced last month, store owner John Kennedy shared his excitement. “We’re delighted to be part of such an exciting win for one of our customers! There’s a great sense of pride in knowing this brilliant prize was won right here in Monksland.
"It’s created a real buzz among staff and customers, and we wish the winner every happiness as they enjoy their windfall,” he said.
