Established in 2010, the family run company is run by brothers and company directors Gerard and Thomas Mulrennan.
As well as the two directors, Tully Forge Ltd currently employs ten people and is located in Ballaghaderreen Business Park.
The firm specialises in welding and fabrication for contract with exports to the United States, Australia, and Canada.
A further four companies, backed and supported by Roscommon’s Local Enterprise Office (LEO), were also recognised at the Enterprise Awards.
The winner of the Social Enterprise Award was Triest Press, who have offices in Castlerea and Roscommon.
Further winners included Roscommon town based The Upholstery Company in the Sustainability category and Monksland based Dunbar Pharma in the Ambition and Growth award category.
The Outstanding Contribution Award was won by Waldron Family Meats established 35 years ago from their South Roscommon base in Brideswell.
Chief Executive of Roscommon County Council, Shane Tiernan, paid tribute to all the award winners and for their immense contribution to the local economy. He said small and medium businesses were the bedrock of the county’s economy.
Mr Tiernan also paid tribute to LEO’s Head of Enterprise Louise Ward, who was attending her final Enterprise Awards after 27 years of dedicated service to the Local Enterprise sector.
In that time, she has overseen the creation of over more than a thousand local jobs.
