Fined for driving with no insurance
A 27-year-old woman was fined at a recent sitting of Castlerea District Court for driving without insurance.
Aoife Scanlon, with an address at Cleverly, Castlebaldwin, County Sligo, was not present at the sitting as she was pregnant.
The court heard from her legal representative that she was pleading guilty to driving without insurance at St Patrick’s Street, Castlerea, on September 8th 2025.
Judge James Faughnan handed down a €300 fine.
