Gardaí investigating four recent burglaries are not ruling out a link between the crimes.

The four break-ins occurred on Monday, June 17th. A blue BMW was seen acting suspiciously at the time of some of the incidents.
Between 11.30 a.m. and 1.15 p.m. in Tulsk a man in his mid-60s returned home to find his house had been ransacked. It’s understood that culprits got in through a back window.
Gardaí are also investigating the ransacking of another house in the Ballintubber area between 8.15 a.m. and 3.05 p.m. on the same day.
A male in his 60s returned home to find his back patio door smashed and the house ransacked. A car appears to have been driven onto the lawn to gain access to the rear of the house.
On the same day in the Castlerea area an incident occurred at a property between 12.20 p.m. and 12.56 p.m.. A man in his mid-30s returned home and noticed entry had been gained through the front door.
Finally, a woman in her early 50s returned home to find her property in the Kilteevan area had been burgled. The incident is believed to have happened on that Monday, some time between 8.30 a.m. and 4.42 p.m..
Gardaí believe that entry was gained through a rear window.
