Heartbroken family thank everyone involved in search for young man

The family of the missing 21-year-old man has thanked everyone who took part in the search.
The search for David O'Callaghan was formally stood down this afternoon by Gardaí following the discovery of a body earlier today.
In a heartbreaking message on social media, Mr O'Callaghan’s mother, Noeleen, on behalf of the entire family thanked everyone who took part in the search.
“It is with a heavy heart that we have to let everyone know that David gained his wings,” she said. “Everyone has been truly amazing, all we can do now is make David proud and give our son, brother, friend, the send off he deserves.” Mr O'Callaghan, from Mohill, County Leitrim, had been reported missing since Saturday, August 9th.
The operation saw volunteers, the civil defence and Gardaí search the Boyle area, where he was last seen.
