Local man named All Ireland storytelling champion

A local man has been named All Ireland champion in storytelling at this year’s fleadh.
Knockcroghery man and renowned seanchaí, Vincent Pierce came first at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026 in Belfast.
Always a proud Kerry native, Vincent has made the county his home for decades and is a stalwart of St Dominic’s GAA Club. Roscommon Comhaltas congratulated Vincent on his success, saying it is very proud of him.
As well as touring internationally, Vincent has helped raise thousands of euro for charity.
