Man (60s) seriously injured in road accident
A man in his 60s was seriously injured in a road traffic accident close to Glenamaddy earlier this morning, Saturday.
A man in his 60s was seriously injured in a road traffic accident close to Glenamaddy earlier this morning, Saturday.
Gardaí have confirmed that a pedestrian, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries in the accident involving a vehicle on the Creggs Road in Glenamaddy shortly after 2 a.m. this morning.
The man was taken to University Hospital Galway for treatment of serious injuries.
Gardaí say that the road is currently closed for technical examination and local diversions are in place.
