The late Jim Tunney.

The death took place on June 4th at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin, of Mr Jim Tunney of Lisroyne, Strokestown.

The Funeral Mass was concelebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown, by Father Eamonn O'Connor, P.P., Father Vincent Atueyi, Canon Ciaran Whitney (Strokestown), Father Charles McDonnell (Athenry), and Father Padraig Costello (Foxford). Rev. Ian Horner (Church of Ireland Rector, Mullingar) participated in the prayers.

Symbols presented at the Mass included a recent family photograph, his Certificate of Exemplary Conduct from An Garda Síochána, a golf ball, and a daily newspaper, to illustrate his lifelong interests.
