Part of the N4 closed due to road traffic collision

Emergency services are tonight, Sunday, at the scene of a road traffic collision in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The  accident has occurred on the N4 between the Tesco roundabout and the Aldi roundabout on the outskirts of Carrick-on-Shannon.

Motorists are advised that the N4 is currently closed at this location while the emergency services deal with the collision.

Diversions are in place via the Castlecarra Road R299, and Cartown R280.
