Saoirse Webb has been crowned the Rose of Castlerea 2025.

Nineteen-year-old Saoirse Webb from Tarmon has been crowned the Rose of Castlerea 2025.

The daughter of Michael and Caroline Webb, Saoirse was one of seven ladies vying for the title at the Rose selection night in the Trinity Arts Centre at the weekend.

A student at DCU (St. Patrick’s College Campus) where she is going into her second year of studying primary school teaching Saoirse was joined by family and friends to celebrate her win.

The crowning of the Castlerea Rose is one of the highlights of the Castlerea Rose Festival. Saoirse now takes over the crown from last year's winner Tara Keane.
