Repair crews working on telecommunication faults in the county

Phone lines and the Internet in County Roscommon have also been impacted by the storms.
Numerous people, who have not lost power, have reported problems with their land lines and Internet since Storm Isha at the weekend.
When contacted Eir confirmed that telecommunication service issues have been reported across County Roscommon.
“Open Eir has deployed repair teams to address approximately 80 faults and restore services promptly. Public cooperation in reporting safety concerns is appreciated,” the spokesperson said.

Since 2pm today, a yellow wind warning has been in effect for Roscommon, with Met Éireann warning of very strong and gusty southwest to west winds. This could lead to difficult travelling conditions and debris. The warning will end at 2am this morning.
