Castlerea Celtic FC has honoured the memory of two great club supporters, Gerry Kelly and Charlie Bligh.

In a special event on Saturday, a memorial match was played at the club grounds, a heartfelt event organised to honour the memory of both men - beloved Castlerea Celtic men, who left a lasting impact on all those around them.

The event was not just about sport but about cherishing the spirit of unity and camaraderie that Charlie and Gerry embodied.

Following the game, a commemorative plaque was unveiled, marking the occasion and ensuring that Gerry and Charlie’s legacy will be forever remembered.

The plaque, which now stands proudly at Castlerea Celtic, serves as a lasting tribute to their impact on the community and the game they loved.
