Evelyn Mannion, Ériu Holistic Therapies, will launch her first book, 'Whispers of the Soul', on Thursday, August 28th.

Monksland based holistic therapist, and now first time author Evelyn Mannion, is set to release her debut book, ‘Whispers of the Soul’.

The practitioner in Bioenergy Healing, Reiki, and EFT Tapping, uses her professional experience blended with her own journey through grief and loss to provide “meaningful and helpful” advice to readers.

Whispers of the Soul details Evelyn’s spiritual awakening following the devastating loss of her father and a much-longed-for pregnancy.

“This book is my love letter to those who feel broken and alone in their pain,” Evelyn shared. “Healing is always possible, even in the darkest moments. I want people to know there is light waiting to guide them home.” Through honest storytelling and raw reflection, the book explains how grief became a doorway to healing and provides navigation for readers going through similar experiences.

“I have tools within the book, guided meditations, the visualizations and journaling prompts and things like that to help the reader that is struggling,” said Evelyn.

Early feedback from readers has been positive according to Evelyn, with the book striking an emotional chord, “I’ve given it out to a few people to read and they got back to me to say it’s very relatable, especially for new mothers.

“They were reading certain parts of it and they felt like they were reading about themselves,” said Evelyn.

Whispers of the Soul will be released on Saturday, September 6th and is available for preorder online at eriuenegeryhealing.com, where further details on Evelyn’s services and upcoming events can be accessed.

Evelyn will be launching her book in Athlone Library on Thursday, August 28th between 5.30 and 7.30 p.m.. Retail price of the book will be €15.
