Stop/Go system in place on Roscommon road

A Stop/Go and traffic lights traffic management system will be in place on a Roscommon Town road for the next three days.
The Stop/Go system came into place from this morning, Wednesday, on the L7055 at Ardsallagh Beg, and will be in operation until Friday evening. Delays are expected.
The L7055 is a link road between the Golf Links Rd (L1812) and the Athlone Rd (N61).
Ground investigation works will be taking place on the road from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. over the the next three days.
Works are being carried out by Ground Investigations Ireland Ltd. on behalf of the council’s roads department.
