Three people due in court following discovery of cannabis grow houses locally

Gardaí arrested three people earlier this week who are due in court this morning.
Three people are due to appear in court this morning after Gardaí uncovered two cannabis grow houses and seized cannabis worth in excess of €300,000 in County Galway earlier this week.
The three individuals — two adult males aged in their 40s and 20s, and one adult female in her 50s — have been charged in relation to the seizure and are due to appear before Castlerea District Court this morning (Friday, March 15th).
As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí conducted searches at two residential properties in the New Inn and Creggs areas of County Galway on Wednesday (March 13th).
Cannabis grow houses were discovered at both locations, resulting in the seizure of cannabis plants worth €228,000, along with cannabis herb worth €75,000.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
