Well-known Roscommon hotelier passes away
The late Mr Tom Grealy.
The death occurred on Saturday, July 26th (peacefully), in the devoted care of the staff at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle of well-known Roscommon hotelier Mr Tom Grealy.
Only child of the late Tommy and Mai Grealy, Tom was at the helm of the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon Town for decades.
Dearly loved husband of Anya and cherished father to Tom Jnr., Adrian, MaryClaire and Robert. He will be forever missed by his family, his daughters-in-law, Geraldine and Annemarie, son-in-law, Matt, and his adored grandchildren, Elliot, Carla, Louis, Tommy, Jenny and Lorcan. Dearly remembered by his many friends and by his colleagues and staff at the Abbey Hotel.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Monday evening from 5 o’c until 7 o’c. Removal from his home on Tuesday morning at 10.30 a.m. arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m.. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
