A Ballaghaderreen man who said he used his vehicle after receiving a call from a family member for assistance was fined €250 at the local court.
Judge James Faughnan heard that Bernard Ward, with an address at 34 Shannon Valley, Sligo Road, Ballaghaderreen had entered a guilty plea after being stopped by Garda Padraig Kelly on March 19th 2025 at R325 Loughglynn, Castlerea.
There was no cert of road worthiness on the vehicle. The van is no longer on the road. The defendant was represented by Neesa O’Callaghan, BL.
