Details of St. Brigid's All-Ireland club football semi-final revealed

Details of St. Brigid's AIB All-Ireland Club Senior Football Championship semi-final against Cork and Munster champions, Castlehaven, have been revealed by the GAA this evening.

Jerome Stack's men will meet the West Cork side on Sunday, January 7th, in FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles, at 1.45 p.m..

The other semi-final between reigning champions Kilmacud Crokes and Watty Graham's Glen of Derry takes place on the same day in Páirc Esler, Newry, at 3.45 p.m..

Both games will be broadcast live on TG4.

That first weekend in January promises to be a busy one for Roscommon GAA fans with Castlerea St. Kevin's AIB All-Ireland Club Intermediate Football Championship semi-final against Cill na Martra from Cork also down for decision.

The Roscommon senior footballers are scheduled to open their FBD League campaign against Sligo at the NUI Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome on Friday, January 5th, while the Roscommon senior hurlers could potentially be in a Connacht League final at the same venue 24 hours later if they come through their quarter-final against Sligo on New Year's Day.
