Roscommon golfer helps his college team win American title
Cian O'Connor helped the University of Memphis win the Quail Valley Collegiate
Roscommon’s Cian O’Connor helped the University of Memphis men’s golf team claim first place at the Quail Valley Collegiate.
O’Connor also finished fifth in the individual event as the University of Memphis romped to victory.
The Roscommon man finished on -10 after his three rounds, which included a second round of 66.
The University of Memphis’ final score is the best three-round score for the Tigers since the 2023-24 season when Memphis won the Gulf Coast Collegiate.
