Roscommon businessman Sean Mulryan celebrated more Gold Cup success at Punchestown this afternoon when his horse Fastorslow repeated his victory of last year.

He again got the better of his old rival Galopin Des Champs in the Ladbrokes Punchestown Gold Cup to secure back-to-back successes.

The Martin Brassil-trained horse, who went off at 7-2, came home one and a quarter lengths clear of the 1-2 favourite.

Mr Mulryan, who owns the winning horse with wife Bernadine, described Fastorslow as "a once in a lifetime horse".

"Martin and I are fortunate to have him," the Oran native told RTÉ.
