Castlerea’s Aoife and Lisa O’Rourke will be aiming to secure further silverware when they compete in the 2026 National Elite Championships.

Two time Olympian Aoife will face Shauna Kearney (Bunclody) in the 69-75KG weight class for a shot at another national championship.

Meanwhile, Lisa will box Evelyn Igharo (Clann Naofa) in the 70KG final.

Both Aoife and Lisa will compete in the Saturday evening session, which commences at 6 p.m.

Lisa's fight will be the 11th fight of the session while Aoife will compete for a national title in the 13th fight of the night.

Among the competitors are double Olympic Champion Kellie Harrington, Paris Olympians Daina Moorehouse, Jenny Lehane, Michaela Walsh, Jude Gallagher, Dean Clancy, Jack Marley, Paris Olympian and 2025 World bronze medalist Grainne Walsh, and 2025 World bronze medalist, Patsy Joyce.

Overall, 75 boxers from 17 counties will compete for coveted Elite titles when the 2026 National Elite Championships begins on Friday at the home of Irish Boxing.
