Dublin have picked up a crucial two points as they battle to stay in Division One of the National Football League.

Ger Brennan's side ran out 1-21 to 2-7 winners at Roscommon on Sunday afternoon to pick up their second win of the campaign.

David Clifford's 64th-minute goal helped the All-Ireland champions Kerry overcome Monaghan by 1-18 to 7-points at Fitzgerald Stadium.

Donegal and Galway shared the spoils in Ballyshannon, where Peadar Mogan's late two-pointer secured a draw for Jim McGuinness' Donegal.

Cork lead Kilkenny by 1-9 to 6-points at Nowlan Park, with Brian Hayes grabbing the goal for the reigning champions.

In Division One B, Dublin eased to a 1-31 to 1-16 win at Antrim, with Kildare defeating Down by 3-24 to 1-13.


In Division One of the Ladies Football League, Galway picked up a 1-11 to 1-9 victory at holders Kerry.

Armagh and All-Ireland champions Dublin finished level at 2-11 apiece.

Manchester United have moved up to third place in the Premier League.
