Athlone Comhaltas announces music workshops
Traditional music workshops will be held on Saturday, August 3rd.
Athlone branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Éireann will host traditional music workshops on Saturday, August 3rd, as part of the Féile na Sionainne Festival.
A great selection of classes will be held, with sessions for improvers and advanced players.
Workshops for concertina, fiddle, banjo, button accordion, flute/whistle, and uileann pipes will be included. The venue is the Gaelscoil, Scoil na gCeithre Máistrí, Athlone, and the event will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon for improvers and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for more advanced players. There will be a pupil tutor recital from 4.15 p.m. to 5 p.m..
