Night and Day has unveiled its electronic lineup for this year’s festival, which takes place from May 29th to 31st at Lough Key Forest Park.
The Sol stage, located inside the 150ft high Moylurg Tower, will host Jenny Greene, Daithi (live), Nialler9, Vanishing Arcs, Sara Miller and Colin Perkins.
In a video announcing the lineup Night and Day highlighted the previous campaign to have the tower taken down on RTÉ’s Nationwide with claims it was a ‘monstrosity’ with ‘no art value at all’.
The video shows how the tower is transformed during Night and Day by visual artist Sergey Khadjava who was finally able to show people what the tower was built for.
A local campaign to remove the tower, which was built in 1973 on the site of the former Moylurg residence that burned to the ground in 1957, ultimately failed to have the viewing point taken down.
Night and Day 2026 will feature more electronic acts than ever before.
West of Ireland DJ collective ‘Runaway Club’ will be taking over the Úna Bhán lakeside stage each night from 7 p.m. bringing a wide range of electronic acts behind the decks.
Acts to perform as part of the takeover include Mark Wolfson, LAWRENCE, Kule, Blokes45, Elliot, Wayden, Ste Flynn as well as a Runaway Club DJ set.
Co-founder of Night and Day Craig Hughes said: “We’re really excited to be announcing so many great electronic acts to perform at Night and Day 2026 and to be expanding our electronic output. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a while and thankfully it’s happening with a great collaboration with local DJ collective Runaway Club,” he said.
Acts already announced including; The Saw Doctors, Imelda May, The Boomtown Rats, The Hothouse Flowers, Cardinals, Soda Blonde, Big Country, M(h)aol, Lemoncello, Babyrat and many more.
Night and Day is supported by Roscommon County Council and Coillte who are the shareholders in Lough Key Forest Park.
