Step into spring with a season of events at Strokestown Park

An Chéad Ghlúin Eile, featuring Sean-Nós singers and native Irish-speaking sisters Étáin and Máire Ní Churraoin, will grace the stage at Strokestown Park on Friday, March 21st.
Spring has sprung at Strokestown Park bringing with it a variety of events to suit all tastes.
From live concerts to celebrating Irish heritage during Seachtain na Gaeilge, exploring history at the Famine Summer School, enjoying cosy music sessions at the Woodland Café, and Easter activities for the little ones – it's all happening at Strokestown Park.

Balladeer and folk singer, George Murphy is kickstarting the spring events on Friday, February 28th. George exploded onto the Irish music scene after his memorable appearances on the Irish television show “You’re a Star”. George will be joined by the prolific fiddle player Sean Regan who has toured the world with iconic Irish musicians such as Sharon Shannon, Finbar Furey, Damien Dempsey, and many more.
An Chéad Ghlúin Eile, featuring Sean-Nós singers and native Irish-speaking sisters Étáin and Máire Ní Churraoin, will grace the stage at Strokestown Park on Friday, March 21st, in a celebration of Irish language and culture. A guided Irish tour of Strokestown Park House will also be running during Seachtain na Gaeilge or explore the National Famine Museum with an Irish audio guide on a self-guided tour.

From April 12th to 27th, discover the Victorian Walled Gardens on the Easter Trail, the perfect activity for little adventurers. Solve the clues and claim your chocolate prize.
May sees the return of the National Famine School, uniting top scholars to explore the 2025 theme ‘Humanitarianism and Hunger.’ The weekend will also showcase the creativity of artists presenting works inspired by the Irish Famine.
