A car experiencing an “identity crisis” has been seized by Roscommon Gardaí.
The vehicle was found to have the wrong registration plates.
“Mutton dressed as lamb,” Roscommon Gardaí said on social media. “This Ford was caught by Roscommon RPU having an identity crisis - wearing license plates belonging to a BMW.
“As if using false plates wasn’t bad enough, checks on our mobility device also showed the car had no insurance, tax or NCT.”
The car was seized and court date are to follow for the driver.
