A GAA pitch in County Roscommon is in line for a major makeover with the installation of a brand new Prunty Pitch.

Work has commenced on the new playing pitch at James Timothy Park, Loughglynn — the home of Éire Óg GAA Club.

The project will be completed in four stages, with a target of early 2027 for completion of the project.

Consequently, James Timothy Park is set to be closed for at least 18 months to facilitate the works.
