County Roscommon school seeks planning for major development

The project involves several elements.
Granlahan National School is seeking planning permission for a major development involving several elements.
Its board of management has lodged plans to develop a number of facilities at the West Roscommon school.
The project incorporates a new community garden to include a walking track and sensory garden, a new multi-use games area and the development of carparking and a drop-off area.
The proposed works also include the demolition of an existing derelict dwelling and outbuildings.
County planners are due to make a decision on the planning application by July 6th.
