County to welcome home world champion Aoife

A triumphant homecoming is to take place tomorrow evening for world champion boxer Aoife O'Rourke.
The double Olympian and County Roscommon boxer became a world boxing champion after winning the gold medal yesterday in the 75kg final at the IABA World Boxing Championships in Liverpool.
The homecoming celebration for the Tarmon native is to take place in Castlerea Boxing Club tomorrow evening at 6.30 pm.
People are being encouraged to attend and arrive early to give Aoife a welcome fit for a champion.
