Famous singer performs at local church wedding

One of the country’s most famous singer-songwriters treated wedding goers to a powerful performance in a local church recently.
Dermot Kennedy was a groomsman at a friend’s wedding which took place at St. Croan’s Church in Ballymoe last Friday.
During the ceremony, he delivered a powerful rendition of one of his songs, 'For Island Fires and Family'.
The previous evening in Roscommon Town, Dermot was also happy to mingle with locals over a pint in JJ Harlow’s.
