Four sets of twins start at Roscommon school

Coláiste Chiaráin in South Roscommon has recorded a unique first for the secondary school as four sets of twins started in First Year.
Zarah and Naoise Dolan, Erin and Oisin Dillon, Ben and Katie Durney and Luyenu and Nero Agbanobi were among the 192 First Year students who recently joined the South Roscommon school.
The total addition of the 2025/2026 First Year group brings the total student population to more than 1,000.
