FTD Brothers to run Roscommon as part of extraordinary All-Ireland challenge
The Adams brothers will be running the over 26.2 miles tomorrow in the county.
Jordan and Cian Adams, who are on a mission to run 32 marathons in 32 days to raise money to help fight dementia, will be running in County Roscommon tomorrow. They have already run in County Leitrim and Longford.
Going to every county in Ireland, Jordan and Cian, known as the , aim to raise awareness and funds for ‘Early-Onset’ Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). They are completing the marathon challenge in memory of the 12 Irish relatives they have lost to FTD, including their grandmother, aunt, and mother Geraldine, who died from the disease aged 52.
The brothers have been diagnosed with a rare gene that causes the condition, meaning they have a high chance of developing dementia in their 40s.
The brothers, who are from the UK but who have significant roots in Ireland, will be in Roscommon tomorrow, May 12th, the 16th day of the challenge.
They arrive in Roscommon Town Park at 10:00am on Tuesday, and will pass through communities across the county. People are being urged to line the route, show their support, and give them a Roscommon welcome they won’t forget.

After Roscommon, the brothers will continue the challenge with a run in County Westmeath, before ending in Dublin on the 28th.
