Mixed fortunes for rounders teams

Elphin Rounders Club have progressed through to the All Ireland Intermediate Women’s final.
The North Roscommon side defeated Castletown Liam Mellows 15-3 in their All Ireland Intermediate Women’s semi final.
They will face Galway City Rapparees in the All Ireland final on Sunday, August 30 at NGDC, Abbotstown, with the game commencing at 1 p.m.
There was no such luck for Kilmore in their All Ireland Intermediate Men’s semi final against St. Clare’s of Cavan.
The Kilmore side were aiming to make it two All Ireland final appearances for the club after they progressed through to the All Ireland Junior Mixed decider.
However, Kilmore came up just short, losing out 16-12.
