Gardai issue warning to mass goers over illegal parking
Reports of illegal parking during weekend Mass times.
Gardaí on duty at Main St/St Mary's Church in Carrick-on-Shannon received reports on Sunday of illegal parking during weekend Mass times.
The gardai want members of the public to be aware that there are available car parks behind The Bush Hotel and at Flynn's Field Car Park.
Both car parks are within 150 metres of St Mary's Church.
Enforcement is active, and vehicles illegally parked or blocking access will face fines or towing. Gardai are asking the public to work with them to keep Carrick-on-Shannon safe and accessible for everyone.
