Hot price obtained for heifer at Carrick Winter Fair

The temperatures may have dipped considerably in County Leitrim this evening, with snow expected later, but at the Midland and Western Winter Fair held in Carrick Showgrounds this evening, Monday, the heat was on in the bidding stakes.
A Champion Belgian Blue cross heifer was sold at the fair by Liam Dolan from Killygordon, County Donegal, for €18,000.
