Job losses as County Roscommon business announces that it is closing

The County Roscommon business has announced that it will be closing today Wednesday, July 31st.
A County Roscommon business has announced that it will be closing its doors to the public today, Wednesday, July 31st with a number of job losses.
However, it is understood that new operators will be taking over the premises in due course.
Daybreak on the Knock Road in Castlerea said that “after many wonderful years of serving you, we are announcing that Daybreak will be closing its doors on Wednesday, July 31st due to new ownership/trader agreement.
“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our loyal customers who have supported us over the years. Your support and friendship have meant the world to us.
"While this is goodbye for Daybreak at present, we are excited to see what the new traders will bring to the community. Thank you once again for everything. We will always cherish the memories made at Daybreak Castlerea.”
Reacting to the news, customers expressed support for the staff working at the premises and hoped that the new owners would be offering them jobs.
